Cinema Guido is a nonprofit community movie theater that provides entertainment, food, and memories for the whole neighborhood. Specializing in making movie-going accessible to everyone, you can expect low ticket prices, attractive membership options, full dining, and curated events that help connect generations with the power of film.

Programming, partnerships, and films will be especially focussed on addressing the needs of our underrepresented neighbors including the LGBTQ+, elder, and student communities.

Meet the Board!​

Lizzy Guido, Board President


Lizzy founded Cinema Guido in March 2023 alongside her wife, Kris, and best friend, Danny. Lizzy brings 10+ years of marketing expertise and business experience to the Cinema Guido board. Originally from Naperville, IL, she spent 10 years in Boston, MA before putting down Pacific Northwest roots with her family in Washington. Lizzy is an LGBTQ+ rights activist, aspiring politician, and is especially interested in using the power of film to connect generations of neighbors.

Kris (KG) Guido Headshot

Kris "KG" Guido, Board Member


Kris (KG to her friends, including you!) joined Cinema Guido as a Board Member in the Spring of 2023. She brings 20+ years of experience in the Medical Technology field, spanning across laboratory and clinical operations, medical information technology, and various sectors of scientific academia. Kris is guided in her life and career by a strong sense of service to the communities that have nurtured and supported her. Her interest in cinema was similarly nurtured from a shared hobby with her wife and fellow board Member, Lizzy Guido.

Danny Smith, Board Member


Danny joined Cinema Guido as a founding Board Member in the Spring of 2023. He brings nearly a decade of Marketing Operations experience, across start-ups and enterprise businesses, to Cinema Guido. Danny grew up going to local cinemas near his hometown of Foxborough, MA and is thrilled at the opportunity to create this unique experience for others.
